Q. Generic Email Setup
A. This is the infomation you need to get your email program working.

POP3: mail.yourdomain.com
IMAP: mail.yourdomain.com
Webmail: http://mail.yourdomain.com/ in a browser.
SMTP: mail.yourdomain.com
(SMTP authentication need to be turned on, using the username and password as below)

Username: user@yourdomain.com
Password: Your Copanel Password

Q. How can I access my mail
A. You can access your mail using POP3, IMAP or Webmail (SmarterMail), You can also send your mail using SMTP.
Q. What is your spam and bulk e-mail policy?
A. We take spam very seriously, any reports of spam will result in an investigation. If spam continues the account in question will be disabled. Reasonable bulk email (mailing lists, etc.) is allowed
Q. Do you have spam blocking?
A. Yes,. We use SmarterMail, which comes complete with various spam filtering methods.
Q. Why doesn't my outgoing mail work?
A. There are a few reasons why outgoing mail may not be working:

1. As mentioned above, you will need to turn on SMTP authenitication.

2. If your ISP blocks outgoing mail when connecting to servers they do not control, you will need to change your SMTP port to use port 26 (instead of 25)
