Web Sites - Depending on what account you choose you can set-up 1 to 40 web sites with no extra costs. Each web site comes configured with it's own mail server (mail.domain.com), statistics server, FrontPage extensions, log files and directory structure. For instance for $20 a month you can have up to four web sites. At this price most web sites only give you one web site. M6.net is the leader in multiple web sites in one low cost hosting account. FTP Login(s) - To access you web hosting account we give you a master FTP login to access all your directories (data, web sites, log files etc) from the one login. You can also (depending on the account selection) set-up multiple FTP logins to individual directories within your account of your choice. This allows you to give an FTP login to specific people in your business, family members etc. Each person can have FTP access only to the projects or areas that you want them to have access to. This is also good for web designers where they want their clients to have access only to their web directories. Unlimited FTP&FrontPage updates -We have no restrictions on the number of updates or changes or uploads you wish to make to any of your web sites. Make as many changes, updates or uploads as you like. Smaller ISP's on personal accounts sometimes restrict how much you can update your site but no web hosting company charging you more than $5 per month would put such a restriction. Control

- We provide a complete
control panel for your account. Here you can set-up FTP logins, add
web sites, request and read support queries (we log all support
history so you can reference to it at any time). Soon we will be
offering a completely customisable control panel and each web site you

Support Database - All support
queries sent to us by email or via our web based control panel are
recorded in our support database and attached to your account. This
gives you a complete history of support requests and answers your can
reference at any time. Technical Support - We provide technical support across 3 shifts per day. Most queries are answered within 6-12 hours but in peak times we work to do this within 24 hours. Our technical support staff is well trained and up to date with all current technologies that our clients use. Although we only fix what is not working we are happy and work to answer all questions from clients in relation to their problems and as we are from a long line of developers ourselves with our own development team in our parent company GloPro Network, we can point out various tips and tricks to various problems or at least point you to somewhere on the net that can help you. 2002 Extensions (on request) - Each web site
you set-up with M6.net in your hosting account can be configured with
FrontPage 2002 extensions. FrontPage is an excellent tool for the
novice or experienced developer to access and edit the site quickly
and easily. If you work on ASP pages and use Visual Interdev FrontPage
2002 extensions let you work directly with your web site from Visual
Interdev. Click here for information on Microsoft FrontPage Image Map Support - With Microsoft FrontPage you can create server or client side image maps. An image map allows you to set-up different links on the one image. Office
2000 Support - Are you using
the Office 2000 web extensions in your web site? Great, we support
them. The Office 2000 extensions offer a powerful suite of components
to run an effective intranet from your M6.net web account. Unlimited
Mailboxes, Auto responders, Forwarders
- On all our accounts you can have as many POP3 mailboxes( standard
internet mailboxes), auto responders, forwarders, aliases as you like.
We have no restrictions to how many you want to set-up. We do not have
restrictions on how much mail you can send and receive but we
will contact you if your mail causes a problem with our mail server
and will help you to sort out any problems. This only occurs if you
have around 100MB in your mailbox and you are sending and receiving
50MB a day. It is against our terms and conditions to Spam or send
unsolicited email messages of any size or volume. For those who know
and prefer, you can use IMAP mailboxes. List Server M6.net provides mailing list services using IMail 6 Server. The list server lets you set up automated mailing lists on the IMail Server. These automated lists are known as "list-server mailing lists;" they differ dramatically from a simple group alias (which is just a name for a list of users). A list-server mailing list can receive mail and re-send the mail to all the users on the mailing list. List-server mailing lists are used widely on the Internet to share information about a topic. More information is available on the Ipswitch IMail web site. List Users Each account has a limit on the size of mailing lists. The List users for your account is the total number of users you can have in your list(s). For example, an M6-2 account allows you to have up to 4 lists with a maximum of 2000 list users in total. You could have one list with 2000 users or 4 lists with 500 users each. Catch All Email Address - If someone sends an email to a mailbox on your mail server that does not exist, instead of returning it to the sender you can catch it in a "catch all" email mailbox. This is great for catching those email messages where the sender has typed the email quickly containing a typo which means it would normally "bounce"- this will help protect against missing all those important emails that might otherwise go astray. Time Web Based Email Administration
- Administer all your mail servers through one customisable web based
interface. Set-up mailboxes, auto responders, forwarders and aliases
directly yourself. There is not waiting for our tech support staff to
do this for you. We even set it up so mail.yourdomain.com points
directly to the web mail administrator interface so your clients see
you but not m6.net! Web
Based Email Client
- You can access, read, reply and send email from any web browser
anywhere from the internet. Simply go to mail.yourdomain.com login and
you can utilise the power of a mail client in your web browser. We
also allow you to customize all the web pages behind your web based
mail client. Just another example of the rich web hosting environment
m6.net provides at low cost. Live
Stats Server - Each web site we
set-up in your account comes with it's own Live Graphic rich view of
the stats of activity on your web site. You can see who is on your
site right now, what pages they viewed, how long they viewed them for
and a whole lot more. Also our stats databases will maintain a history
of your statistics so you can compare activity of your web site over
time. Access
to Raw Log Files- Whenever
someone accesses your website the web server records as much detail
about the connection as possible: IP address, length of time, web
browser, amount downloaded etc. We set-up our web servers to record
the W3SVC Extended Log format to catch everything about the connection
to your web site as possible. We store all the log files for all your
web sites in a directory called "logs", here you can
download these text files to your computer and analyse them with your
own web server stats software. Our graphic stats server also uses
these logs and stores a copy of the data in it's own database. Search
Engine Submission - We'll
submit each and every one of your web sites to over 400 search
engines, link sites and directories. This includes all the major
search engines, link sites and directories. Unlimited
Domain Parking - Domain parking
is where you want to register a domain but do not necessarily want to
activate it as a web site or mail server,you just want to register the
domain for use at a later date. You can park as many domains as you
like on our domain name server. You can even register the domain
through us for a very low registration fee. Click here for information on BIND DNS for NT Unlimited Domain Pointers- A domain pointer is where you might want to have several domains pointing to the one web site i.e. www.my-big-web-shop.com and also www.mybigwebshop.com plus as many other domains as you'd like, pointing to the one web site and mail server. Unlimited Dynamic Domains - A dynamic domain requires a little ASP, PHP or CGI programming knowledge but is very simple to set-up. A dynamic domain allows you to detect what domain is pointing to the web site and depending on the domain you can redirect it to another web site or directory within your web site. This allows you to inexpensively have many web sites on the one account without asking us to set-up another website for you in our system. If you want a separate mail server, stats and log files for the web site you will have to have us set it up for you as another web site on our server. Dynamic domains are good for running the same web application or web site with different branding and imagery depending on the domain calling it. Domain
Name Registration - We are more
than happy to register and transfer your domains. For many it can be a
daunting process and our sales and support staff are happy to make
this as straight forward and easy for you as possible. For us it's a
very quick and easy process. Static
IP Address- Every M6-2 or
higher account comes with it's own static IP address. IP addresses are
getting ever more scarce so we have configured our accounts for one IP
address per account, and easily run multiple mail and web servers from
your one IP address. If you require a static IP address for each
domain contact our sales staff and we can quote a price for you. Click here for information on our Network Operations Disk Space - On all accounts we provide enough disk space to run the most intensive web sites. You can upload entire - enormous - image libraries, with 500MB you could have 500,000 100Kb files! The Disk space you use on our servers includes any databases you have, log files generated by activity on you web site, scripts, HTML pages, downloads and MP3's. UPS
Power Backup - All our servers
are on a UPS grid within our NOC in Huntsville AL. If the power goes
out your site will still be on the net. In the NOC (Network Operations
Centre) we have Diesel generators to keep your site up for days. Unlimited
ODBC System and File Connections
- ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) is Microsoft technology to give
access to your database (Access, FoxPro, Text CSV, Excel) through
common programming functions. For ODBC system connections we set them
up for you. On every account we offer, you can have an unlimited
amount of ODBC system connections or ODBC file connections. If you
really want to speed up and secure your data connections we would
suggest you investigate OLE DB connections - this is a more direct
connection to your database and you can still use the common ADO
programming functions. MS
Access/ FoxPro / Text CSV / Excel Support
-As we support ODBC and ADO you can seamlessly use Access / Fox Pro /
Text CSV or Excel as a backend database for your web site. SQL
Server 7 & 2000 - Develop your web
application backend with SQL Server 2000 and know you can deploy your
application on your M6.net web account. Using Microsoft SQL Server
Enterprise Manager you can control your database on your M6.net
account directly: setting permissions, stored procedures, tables and
more. To get a client version of Microsoft Enterprise we suggest you
install the Microsoft Data Engine which you can install on Windows
98,Windows ME, Windows NT and Windows 2000. Microsoft Data Engine is
freely available from the Microsoft web site. Server
Side XML - Extensible Mark-up
Language from Microsoft will get you ready to take advantage of .NET
and WDSL, both powerful technologies that will revolutionize the

own customised error pages with your own identity and error
information. Executable CGI-BIN Directory - Have you been running your web site on a Unix or Linux system and now want to progressively move your site to Windows 2000? We have successfully helped hundreds of web masters with their conversion of CGI to Windows 2000. It's pretty simple .. making sure the right permissions are set and that the paths are changed over to suit Windows 2000. Side Includes - Server
side includes allow you to reuse the same HTML file, text file or ASP
code again and again in many different web pages. Write it once use it
may times. For instance the typical way to use SSI is to set up a
header and footer and then include the header file in the top of every
web page in your web site and the same for the footer at the bottom of
the page. Update the one file and your whole web site is updated.
There are many more uses for SSI but the most powerful is reusing the
