Welcome | |

During last week Gavan had setup a new mail server to replace a
problematic mail server (only effecting a few clients). It is setup
and the configuration data transferred. What takes time is to
transfer all the mail data with millions of small files. As would
be, this week, one client with a mail domain on that server started
spamming and caused a massive load on the server pulling it down.
The domain was immediately stopped, but because the DNS change would
not take immediate effect - the server still suffered load from this
spamming activity for several hours afterwards. We do not allow
spamming of any kind from our servers - and any domain found
spamming will be shut down immediately and the account terminated. As Kunal mentions below, next week we will be holding a group session for new technical support trainees. Matthew has almost finished the training course and exams. These current efforts will help us improve response time and quality to all your support queries. We're not perfect, but we are working hard to always continually improve our service and operations. |

This week has been very busy, with
mail server issues dominating the week. We will be moving
domains off the problematic server within the next week, a mass
mail will notify affected clients of the details. I have also
been cleaning deleted accounts off the older servers, and there
is also a new SQL server to setup which will allow us to balance
the current SQL servers to increase database performance.

We have had two training sessions this week
for our support team members, on the latest technologies and issues.
Also, there is a big schedule for next week to screen some new technical
support personnel. This week we have had a problem with one of our mail servers and we totally agree the fact that it has been a big issue with our clients. We understand the fact that mails are the biggest support for any business. Hence our network admin is setting up a new mail server. |
