As always I continue to look deeply inside M6.Net to find ways of
maintaining continual improvements. My focus now is to empower more
and more people within M6.Net to carry this into their roles and
affect the systems and procedures with continual improvements.
This week Gavan is finishing off some of the tasks of the previous weeks and then, together next week, we will start developing a project to put in even more checks and review our current monitoring and maintenance procedures. We intend to automate more and more of the mundane maintenance tasks so there is more time for Gavan and the team to work on proactive tasks. We're are also working on ways of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the support team as a team to meet the required metrics while at the same we are working on ways of providing each support person with a path to grow their technical and communication skills. We aim to provide fast, highly skilled technical support and we have found the most important thing we need to address is to provide a much better internal communications program to foster continual learning with all account managers. We do provide constant internal training, but have realized we need to open up more internally to fully bring together our vast collective knowledge. This week I have also been interviewing more developers to replace Roli as lead developer. |

A good week apart from
a mail server issue late last week which has been resolved. The
problem was due to new spam checks in a new version of
Smarter Mail which caused CPU usage on one of our mail servers to
be extremely high and effect performance. |

| Last week the team got to learn lot more new things. This week we will be focusing mainly on addressing new problems and issues effectively. Will be training support people more and more. We understand that past weeks there were problems with some of the automation. However, new control panel will be able to fix these issues. |

| This week we are work hard to finalize the Control Panel. A number of UI items has to be changed to make the application faster and it effected every page. It was quite a major thing that had to be done and is well worth the time and effort. |
