Welcome | |

The Server DINGO has successfully been moved to a new Windows 2003
server. This means we are not fitted out to easily upgrade our servers
without interruption to clients. Javier will also start working on a
version of the same script to move one client from a server to another
server. This will help us move accounts that grow very large to servers
that have very little load in order to easily balance resources.
Previously we would have to do this manually and it would take many
hours. Aaron had just hooked his design up to the a copy of the actual control panel. We are about to redesign and redevelop the interface for the file manager and reseller pages. We're not far away now from getting rid of the old and 'out-dated' looking control panel interface that we have now. In relation to interface design take a look at http://www.windsorinterfaces.com/ This is an M6.Net client site producing some very useful and very innovative software tools to view photos, manage notes and manage large amounts of data on very small PDA screens. |

| We are glad to
learn that first server move was almost seamless, with minor glitches
here and there. Javier will concentrate on improving those tool and
scripts developed, which will allow us to make the transfer of accounts
from one server to another completely seamless. This week I will concentrate on updating and reviewing our growth model and plans, which has helped us keeping the track of our growth and utilizing the resource efficiently. Further accuracy and update in our growth model and plans will certainly allow us to serve you better. |

Javier and I have been busy working on
perfecting the server move scripts and we now have finally started
moving old servers to new Windows 2003 servers. There were quite a few disk space issues on some of the older servers but I have managed to clean up a fair amount of space. This disk space issue will be resolved permanently, once we have moved all old servers to the new ones. |

| This week I'm working on
server transfer and the new report for the support team. We met some
problems in database restore and finally we found a way to overcome it. For the new report, I need to perfect some SQL queries to generate it as Sanjay and Michael have come up with some very difficult queries to give some very detailed and specific analysis queries of what is happening with the support.. |
