Director

  Welcome

Bob and I are getting deeper and deeper into the review of systems and procedures. I have asked Ananth to start work on implementing changes to our intranet next week. Before we start this I would like to request feedback from you in relation to any frustrations you have with our service. I am very keen to make the next month of development, systems and procedure changes be a pivotal point in improving our services dramatically. Currently our complaints and issues in relations to problems and errors are around 2%. I want to see us improve this to be less than 1%. I would also appreciate feedback on our support people and how you feel particular people have or have not been helpful to you.

Bob and I will then take all the feedback and aggregate it to work out what needs to be done better in our systems, procedures and training to provide better service through our operations and staff. I do appreciate your time in providing this feedback. Please email feedback@m6.net . Thank you

Network Operations

Network Administration

We've spent the last week addressing a number of procedural issues both in Support and Network Ops; we will spend the next week addressing a number of intranet issues and working with the Support Team to bring the support queue under much stricter control.

In the near future we will be provisioning a series of new machines as well as updating machines we already have. Over the last week, I have noted a number of areas in which we can improve, and hopefully you will be able to see a very real benefit in the very near future.

This week has been another busy one for support, however we're getting on top of things. We had a primary drive fail in one of our SQL servers on Monday night our time, which was replaced and the server was back serving SQL db's on Tuesday afternoon. We will also be running some training sessions for potential new support staff this week and next week.

Hi everyone, this week we have again been concentrating on some internal systems that will hopefully make the company running smoother.
