Bob and Vijay are doing very well on the Network Operations tasks. The monitoring as mentioned last week is working brilliantly and we now have an RD database and reporting system to track the trends of server activity. This will help us fine tune things for optimal performance.

Next week we are revamping our entire backup system. This week I have been planning it out and Bob will start to implement it. Vijay will start work on maintenance of our support system and intranet to bring even greater efficiencies to the support team.

My head is still in the details as I sort out these items in Network Operations and bring in a rostered Network Ops team. The rest of this week I will be reviewing the Network Ops work schedules for implementation Monday week.

This week has been a good week, with few problems to deal with. There is currently a disk issue on one of the web servers, we are adding another drive though and are going to move client data to this new drive.

I have also been doing more server cleanups and general tasks, while also working with Bob to fine tune some of the monitoring metrics/checks so they do not give us false alerts.

Hi everyone, We had Jesse with us at our support meeting on Monday to give us some advice on how we can make our queries better and easier to understand. I’ve already noticed some positive changes to the support team from this. Our communication is improving and we are getting closer to the 1 query 1 reply goal. We won’t however be able to get there without help from our customers. When submitting a support request please remember to state the exact problem, the time it occurred and any error messages you have received and instructions on how to repeat the error. Hi Everyone, our new monitoring system has been activated which should help us finding any problems with any of our servers quicker. Vijay will start to work on the intranet applications and the support ticket system this week.

Ananth and Javier will continue to work on the control panel, we are changing some UI components that will make the control panel both faster and more flexible to the users, we are doing this as a direct request from some of our testers.
