I really like Melbourne. That's Melbourne Victoria in Australia. Great city and great people. I was busy in Melbourne for part of this week catching up with some old business friends. It's good to get away and freshen the brain from time to time. My time away was also good to leave Gavan, Patrick and Josh to get on top of the tasks planned out over the previous week- I am pleased to see so much has been completed on the control panel, network documentation, procedures and general training. Many of you would have noticed Vijay is back from a month long holiday in India - It's great to have Vijay back. He always gives every client 110% of his time and attention. A lot of testing and bug fixes have been completed on the new control panel and Javier continues to knock over more and more - it really is starting to be a solid platform for controlling a Windows hosting package. It's proving to be well worth the huge investment we have made. More of you will see the beta in the coming weeks. |

This week has been relatively trouble free, allowing me to concentrate on the management side of things more than previous weeks. There was an issue last week with one of our servers being the subject of a suspected DoS attack, however I’m pleased to say our provider’s protection system handled the situation well, and the issue is no longer occurring. I have also today setup a new SQL server which will be up and taking new SQL db’s this week. Our SMTP authentication changes seem to have made a difference already with the amount of possible SPAM instances reported since the change, down dramatically from what we normally receive. |

Hi everyone, I'm coming to understand the inner workings of m6.net and some of the more interesting components of what makes m6.net work. Currently I'm still working on getting up to speed with some of the more intricate parts of IIS and SSL. I am trying to get a working knowledge of how the support team operates so i can operate better as their manager. |

This week’s main focus is still on our
new control panel. We have get most of the bug fixed as well as
analyzed some of the idea we got back from our volunteer tester. New
function and tools has been planed and have added to our priority
list.
We have got a few major bugs that required some changes of our coding logics and rearranging the display, these bugs are definitely needed to be fixed before releasing beta version. But other then that everything is running smooth. |
