  Welcome

The new control panel is now officially released as a Beta and available to use on all client servers.  You can access the new control panel at https://beta.copanel.com - you will get an SSL warning dialog. This is because it expects the SSL certificate to point to https://copanel.com - which will be the address when it is released. A few last minute visual changes are being made. We do not expect you to encounter any problems - but if you do please email your problems with as much info to bugs@copanel.com

Compared to the previous week, this week as been a perfect week. We still encountered issues but the refinement and changes made to processes and procedures along with the continual team dialog and learning from the previous week has made a big impact. It has also made it clear to us who are the strong people on the team.

Rohan has made great progress with our new web site. I would like to get some feedback from some of you on the new site we are developing. If you would be interested in taking a look and providing some constructive criticism please email me at michaelg@m6.net and I will send you a link.  I will only give out the address to a handful of people at this early stage as I would like to have quality discussions with you about it. If you are interested we would very much appreciate your time and feedback as this is the most significant web site change in over 3 years.

Network Administration

We're back on top of everything this week, the servers are behaving themselves and we can now dedicate our time to getting everything working perfectly for the release of the new control panel. The only issues I can report; we had a few problems with a hard disk today, which turned out to be nothing major, and a large mail queue slowing down deliveries. These are both now fixed up and everything is running smoothly, with new monitoring checks to keep us more aware of these sorts of problems in the future.

This week in support has been a lot smoother due to the Network Admin team getting most of the problems from last week fixed. We have started on the back log of Client moves we have and hope to have them completed by the end of next week. We have also been having disk issues with one particular server, and we have the Network Admin team and the Data center guys looking into that for us. If you are having any problems in regards to disk issues or missing files, please contact support with the details. We would also like to remind clients that it is a good idea to keep local backups of your sites wherever possible.

Hi Everyone and a warm welcome to all our new customers. We have finally released a beta version of the control https://beta.copanel.com  which all clients can go and try out now. We are aware of a few issues with it that we are currently working on but no "show stoppers". I would urge all our customers to go and try it and report back any problems you have with so we can fix it as soon as possible and make the whole experience nicer.

Vijay has been working on our internal system and monitoring system.
