  Welcome

Over 80% of queries are now being answered in under 6 hours and we are achieving our goal of less than 10 queries in the queue at any one time. This week has been one of our best performing weeks due to all the training and initiatives put in place after learning some very big lessons in the past few months. We have a new developer joining us to help with the load of development to help improve our performance. And a new technical support leader will be joining the team in the coming weeks to ensure we keep achieving these quality results and improving them.

After the past few week's events, it's good to be able to say there were no major problems this week. The troublesome mail server has been performing excellently, and a small bug in the web interface has been corrected. This week I will be testing out the new update of SmaterMail, and if all goes well all servers will then be upgraded.

One thing of note for Mac users with SMTP authentication enabled, if you are having problems sending mail then please set your mail client settings to use the format 'user%domain' as this works around a bug in the Mac framework which removes the domain portion of the login if you use the traditional 'mail@domain' format.

Hi All, It has been a great week and things at the support end are running smooth. We were able to bring the support queue back to normal and response time for queries has improved. The technical ability of support personnel and their responses to queries have improved and we have been able to provide quick support.

We are always looking to improve our performance in all areas, so suggestions from clients are always most welcome. We appreciate our clients support and the positive comments we receive, the whole team would like to thank everyone who has given positive feedback in recent weeks.

Tip for the Week! - We have ASP Mail and Jmail components which are free for client use, sample code can be requested from support.

This week we would like to introduce everyone our new developer – Ananth. To get Ananth started and exploring our work environment, we have given him a few simple tasks to fix up some of the old scripts that aren’t running correctly. We look forward to his contributions to the development team and the benefits his experience and knowledge will bring.

This week I am putting a new version of the diagnosis report online to test, as there have been new components added to it. These new components are useful to visualize the overall performance of all our servers. It will be a good tool to prevent error and reduce the delay in resolving unexpected errors and complex server issues.

This work will be ongoing in the coming weeks as there are more components planned to be added which will offer more information.
