Director

  Welcome

This week an important message for all customers:

This Monday we received notice from our bank that starting in April they will be changing the way we process credit cards and will enforce stricter rules when determining when a card is invalid. Our system has been changed to account for this and any invalid card will be rejected which means the account is immediately sent an email notice by our system and suspended. I urge you to login to your control panel and verify your credit card information (name, number, expiry, CVV2) to ensure their is no confusion with your account or disruption of service.

We've been sorting through numerous applications for new support team members this week, looking to add people to the team in order to bring our level of support up a notch. Michael and I have also been reading through your comments and suggestions at feedback@m6.net - and have identified some key areas where we need to improve.

I have also provisioned another new web server, the second in 4 weeks. Also on the server side of things -- I will be refining our mirroring system over the next week so as to improve our emergency response times.

This week has been rather event-free for support, with no major server issues. It hasn't been quiet though, with support requests coming in at a steady rate. I'd like to take this opportunity to remind all clients to check that their account details are correct and up to date; this includes CC info, address and phone numbers that are linked to your account, and also email addresses. Due to recent changes by our bank we need to ensure all client payment details are up to date, so we'll be trying to contact you if your details need updating. In other news, we have a new web server that new accounts are going to as our steady growth continues.

Hi everyone, we have been implementing a more stringent credit card system. In the last few weeks since our bank have changed how it deals with expired cards. So now accounts with an expired credit card associated with it will be suspended.
