Welcome | |

The efforts and extra resources given to support have seen our que drop
to our objective levels of less than 30 queries in the queue at any
one time. We can now strive for less than 10 queries and a much
faster response rate. We share all positive and not so positive
comments with everyone in the team. A big thank you to Greg, Peter,
Stephen, Mick, Nicole, Eric, Bill and Paulo for your positive comments
over the last week - this really motivated everyone in support to go
that bit extra each time.
This week Roli will be leaving us to travel and attend to some personal issues and all of us at M6.Net whish her the best and will be eager for her return. Roli and Javier have managed to complete the new control panel. I am looking over it for last minute items and will contact those who wanted to Beta test once I am happy with it and then Javier will be handling beta bug issues over the next week. We hope that Roli will return in the coming months and work with us again. |

This week I have been working on
setting up new web and SQL servers, and have also been working on
stabilizing one of our mail servers after last week's issues. One
thing I would like to remind all our clients of is the plans to
introduce SMTP authentication on all our mail servers in the near
future. We will be sending out mass mails in regards to this when a
time frame is finalized which will include instructions on how to
modify your mail clients when this change occurs.
I have also been working personally
with a few clients on implementing applications for their accounts

We are going through a major change in the
working system of our support team. There have been issues last year
related to the quality of the team and also the response time of each
support request. We have recruited a few more people and have already
put them in training. We have introduced an extra shift to reduce the
response time to 1-2 hours. This and the coming week, I will be focusing on organizing the training sessions in coordination with Matt. Matt will be working on the training documentation and the analysis of building an internal knowledge base. I have a request for all our clients: When sending a support request, please make sure that you provide us complete details of the problem. As mentioned earlier, this will help our support team members fix the issue on the first go. |

| This week has gone by very
quickly for me, more so, since it was my last week before leaving
M6.NET. I modified the CSS for Control Panel - for a complete new and
enhanced look. Fixing bugs and tidying the Database, User, Reseller,
File manager and other pages also took up some time. I am currently
working on the Billing related pages, which I will be integrating into
the system. Javier is grinding away with the Extras pages, and next he will take up the testing of Control Panel. My association with M6.NET was one of its kinds, because of the wonderful team I got to work with. Thank you Michael, for letting me be a part of M6.NET. I appreciate the team for helping me get around and understanding the Web Hosting technology better. My special thank you to Michael Nordling, Gavan, Vijay and Matt for guiding me through learning and development, while I worked on Control Panel and the Internal Intranet projects. Wishing the best to M6.NET! |
