Welcome | |
|
This week we have added a 3rd name server (this name server is
outside our current name servers network). You can add
ns3.m6.net
You can add this as another name server to all your domains. All domains we host are listed in this name server too. Compared to the previous week, the last week has been terrific. We've all been able to continue work on a lot of internal tasks from bringing in our new servers, producing the new web site and improving a lot of other operational system and procedures for more efficiency. For web hosting people like us - it's a lot of fun. We're already starting to see the improvements we have made in the past weeks start to take effect, like the new monitoring, automation tweaks and server cleanups. |

This week
has been a good week, with no major
issues to attend to. I have been working
on internal tasks which relate to our US
domain and also tightening security on
the servers a little more. I’ve also
been working with Bob in regards to the
admin tasks he’s been taking over, and
helping him familiarize himself with the
system as he goes. I’ve also got some
new web, db and mail servers to setup as
our growth in recent weeks has been
progressing very well.

At the moment the load on the support queue is high. The Support Team is working to address all your issues as quickly as possible. Some of the queries reported do not have an adequate amount of information, to solve it promptly. Please make sure that you have listed all the possible errors and issues that you are having - more information is better than less.
Tip of the week: If you are having hundreds of users hitting your web site simultaneously, the process of opening database connection will impact on performance of your website. You can improve this performance by advantage of connection pooling. Wherein, a set of connections are kept open, which can be shared by multiple users. |

Hi everyone, we have a new server for
the new control panel now, and we are moving to this new server in
the next couple of days, so not long now until a system wide beta.
yay :). Vijay has been continuing to work
on an improved security system. With the delay in getting some new hardware Ananth and Javier have been able to fix some few smaller issues with our automation process and customization for the control panel. If everything goes to plan this week we should be able to announce the new control panel in next weeks newsletter, so stay tuned. Like always, if you have any comments or questions about the new control panel, please contact us at bugs@copanel.com. |
