Welcome |

Coming up to the end of year holiday period everything
is quite busy. We have added extra shifts to handle the
extra support load and everyone will be working through
this busy period to keep supporting you.
Kunal has made great strides putting in a lot of
effort coaching the team, managing busy rosters and
implementing new in-house training programs. Gavan has
also taken a strong lead in giving the team direction
with all the small day to day technical issues that are
occurring - grabbing them before they become bigger
issues. Our efforts of the last few weeks are starting
to show results and I expect to be in full swing within
the next 4 weeks.
I would like to thank all of you for hosting your
sites with us during 2004 and sincerely wish you all a
safe, happy and healthy holiday period! |

This week I
have been busy overhauling our backup system, and diagnosing
problems with an internal monitoring system that Chin had setup
here in our office. There have also been some issues with moved
clients recently where minor issues had to be attended to. There
was also a DDoS attack on one of our newer servers, however the
more capable network and small IP Security Policy change saw
that attack handled before it caused any service disruption. One
thing I would like to address soon is the growing amount of SPAM
we have to deal with lately, I am considering enabling SMTP
authentication on the mail servers, if you have an concerns or
feedback on this possibility please let us know. I would also
like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season, and all
the best for 2005 :) |

Starting this week we are implementing new strategies in the
team to avoid some problems and to improve our support service.
There were some problems with the SQL database creation and
similar such things in the present control panel. We have been
taking note of all these and implementing there fix in the new
control panel. One suggestion for our clients when sending us a
request for any issues. Send us the problem detail mentioning:
-What you did?
-What was the error message?
-When exactly the problem started?
We get such kind of problem
statement and we assure that the response time will be improved.
Happy New Year to all the clients ;-) |

Last week I was working on
the Control Panel. Several requests that have come from the clients are
being reviewed. And we are trying our best to accommodate them in the
new Control Panel. I worked on setting up database and reseller pages.
There were several pages that needed UI modifications. Coming week, I
will be working on security related issues of the application. This is a
challenging as well as one of the most important factors for any
application. Also Javier will be helping me in with the automation
related issues. Also we plan to add some extra features like, adding
name servers, scheduling applications and adding components, through the
Control Panel. |
