Director

  Welcome

This week we are setting up a new mail server and will be moving mail accounts to this new server for greater reliability.

The support team is doing great and I can see everyone is making a real effort to take great care and attention in responding to queries fast.

With the current growth we are bringing on more new support team members. We are doing this so we can provide more extensive training before they start support clients to eliminate less mistakes and issues.

Javier is making good strides with the Control Panel. I and William are bug testing all the little known bugs.

This week has been spent setting up new SQL and Web servers, freeing space on older servers and some deleted account maintenance. I have also been continuing to work with clients who are having some issues trying to get certain applications working under their accounts. We have also ordered a new mail server which we will use to migrate accounts which are currently on one of our mail servers which has been troublesome of late. We hope to be able to direct mail to the new server by the end of the week.

After the mail server migration is out of the way, the next mail development will be enabling SMTP authentication across all servers. Expect a mailout in regards to this in the coming weeks.

There is a good sense of improvement showing in the team. As mentioned last week, training sessions have already started. We have had an intensive training session this Monday and our new support personnel are learning a lot from it. The coming week I will be focusing on gathering some more issues and solutions that we can deliver to our team members.

We have plans to increase our team strength, so next week; will be busy with training new Technical Support Applicants.

Javier is continuing work on the new Control panel. All functionality is complete - we are just fine tuning the interface and squashing bugs.
