Welcome | |

I have been interviewing some potential graphic production assistants
this week to help with producing icons for our new software and also
to work on our new web sites. I have also been busy working with
Michael Nordling on the interface design of our new software - an
advanced RSS reader and blog application. Designing software
is a real passion for me, so it has been a productive and enjoyable
week.
Ananth and Javier are making excellent progress on the new control panel as Michael explains below. We have a very overloaded database server due to some issues in our automation system that provision new databases. Josh is managing the issue to bring everything back to normal loads as quick as possible. He has brought on extra shifts to balance the overload of databases to new databases servers as fast as possible. I'd like to wish all our US friends a happy and safe 4th of July Next Monday! |

This
week was spent finalizing the documentation for
my Management, Monitoring & Maintenance
procedures. This info will provide someone with
a quick, concise reference for all the common
admin tasks related to server and network
administration procedures. We also have a new
web server setup this week which is now taking
new accounts, and there is also SQL and Web
server balancing being carried out this week and
next week too.

This week is an exciting
week here at m6. I have made the calls and we have 2 new
hopeful m6 employees. Over the next few weeks we will be
feeding them as much knowledge as we can to help them
help you. We have been having some difficulties with a
Database server. Currently its grossly overloaded. The
reason why this happened is because we had a scripting
failure for a few days. In that few days our cut off for
databases was ignored and that has caused us to have an
excess of databases on one of our Database servers.
Plans have already been started to move the excess 200
databases from this server.

This week we have been working on to
make the control panel faster and we have been able to make it much
smoother. We still have some work that needs to be done on a few
features but after this is done we are ready to release the control
panel to a public beta to all our clients.
Also thank you to the people that test and give us feedback about the new control panel. |
