Team Member : Michael G. Code Team Member: Mchael Position: Director
Age: 32Work Experience: Marketing: When 15 years old had a business managing direct mail databases, managing 8 people for one year. Had 4 years in computer training, helping people in businesses and home users back in the late 80's eary 90's. Worked at Communications Research Institute as part of a team focused on user interfaces for remote communications as well as bug testing applications. Spent 5 years in marketing for a small successful management consultancy handling marketing of innovative software products developed by the company. Have always found computers to be very empowering. When 13 years old copied all software available just to be able to load them up and be awed by their magic. Beliefs about position on team: 'My position involves providing direction as well as coordinating all functions and roles of people for M6.Net to reach its vision and goals.' Likes the most about working at M6.Net:'It's a clean canvas in an undefined industry so one can construct something totally new. We can redefine the principles and values of a business by constructing from scratch how it should be run: all people are equal-how you work not how you look is what counts - people must work to fullfull their purpose. A good manager is artful at bringing and inspiring the right people to come together and do great things. People work here because they love their craft, for passion, not just for money.'
Interests and Dreams for the Future: ' I would love to watch M6.Net keep growing and create innovations that help humanity leap to greater things. Humanity as a whole - and that includes every person. I would like to live on a rural property, and am interested in ancient history, consciousness of humanity and I study Hebrew. I love skateboarding with my kids and would like to get air on a vert ramp, that's a big goal for me!' What did you want to be when you were a kid? Wanted to be a fighter pilot, but am color-blind. I am glad it worked out the way it has, as what is ultimately required of a fighter pilot is not me - pulling 9gs and mach 2.5, I could handle that though.
